HOW WE PRODUCE THE AREA'S BEST FIREWOOD LOGS

We only sell our products in either fully seasoned (naturally in the wind) and kiln dried, our timber is all British sourced FSC graded from regulated forestry activity, the process begins by stockpiling vast amounts of round lengths of timber for around 18 months to begin the seasoning process and let the wind crash through the stacks and lighten the wood to make the future processing easier

We process the Timber into 10 inch Logs into the specialist vented Log bags, these breathable bags allow the wind to pass through the bags and finish the seasoning process

AIR SEASONED FIREWOOD - We leave the bags of Logs outside in the wind and Sun for around 10 months until the moisture content is averaging out at around 20% ready for despatch to the end user. Our kiln dried firewood goes into our purpose built wood fired kiln and the Firewood is force dried (please note: moisture content is an average, feel free to check the logs on delivery with your own electronic moisture meter.
